Jedynak Tomasz
Currently assistant professor at the Department of Risk Management and Insurance at the Cracow University of Economics (CUE).
A graduate of Finance and Accounting at CUE. He completed post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Management of the CUE “Research project management and commercialization of research results”. In 2015, he defended the doctoral dissertation titled “Efficiency and risk of socially responsible investment funds” at the Faculty of Finance of the CUE. The dissertation was granted the First Award of the President of the Management Board of Warsaw Stock Exchange and was awarded the CUE Rector's Award. Dr Jedynak was a participant of the NUS-Santander Doctorate Workshop on Advanced Financial Risk Management at the National University of Singapore. In 2016, he completed a six-month research fellowship at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. He was a visiting professor at the Lviv Institute of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine, National University “Lviv Polytechnic” and the University of Economics in Prague. He actively cooperates and lectures at the Podhale State College Of Applied Sciences in Nowy Targ. Dr Tomasz Jedynak is an author and co-author of several dozen publications in the field of economics and finance, co-author of two academic textbooks and other didactic publications. He is also a contractor of several scientific and research projects covering finance issues, including in particular social security and the functioning of the pension system. Lecturer at postgraduate and doctoral studies. Participant of many international and national conferences and seminars. In the past, he was closely associated with business practice as an employee of a brokerage house and an investment bank. As part of his professional activity, he is involved in the provision of strategic consulting services for enterprises as well as preparation of profitability studies and business plans. He has sat on the supervisory boards of capital companies for several years. His research interests focus around issues related to retirement security. The topics of his scientific work include issues of modernizing pension systems and the functioning of voluntary forms of old-age security. In addition, he also deals with behavioural aspects of the functioning of pension systems and economic and social challenges related to the aging of the population

Maj-Waśniowska Katarzyna
PhD, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Finance at the Collage of Economics, Finance and Law at Cracow University of Economics. A researcher in a team undertaking the nodal issue titled “Models for the creation and distribution of public goods and services” in the Regional Excellence Initiative project at the Cracow University of Economics titled “Social and economic consequences of the Fourth Industrial Revolution”.
She is the author of over forty publications, including books, book chapters as well as publications in national and international journals. Her scientific interests focus on issues concerning mainly the consequences of Industry 4.0 for the education system, public finance, local government finance, education, social assistance, ageing society and demographic changes. While working at university she had the opportunity to conduct a series of trainings in the performance budget for the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Environment. She also took part in preparing the application as part of Project Power 3.5, and at present she is one of the coordinators implementing the project.

Wąsowicz Krzysztof
Krzysztof Wąsowicz - a graduate of the Bartłomiej Nowodworski High-School of General Education no. 1 in Cracow. Related to the Cracow University of Economics. As a student of Finance and Accounting, specialty: Enterprise Finance, he was granted the degree of magister (MA). Next, he started full-time doctoral studies at the Faculty of Finance. For several years, he has been working at the Cracow University of Economics at the Department of Finance for Sustainable Development. In December 2017, he defended, with distinction, his doctoral dissertation titled Efficiency of public utility companies on example of local public transport. An economic practitioner, he holds a managerial position within the management area in joint-stock companies. The author and co-author of dozens of publications (including 4 monographs).
Fields of research interest: economics of the public sector, municipal services management, functioning of public utility companies, valuation and formulation of enterprise value.

Rosiek Ksymena
researcher, lecturer, employee of the Department of Industrial and Environmental Policy of the Cracow University of Economics. Combining interests in environmental management, social economy and industry, she specializes in issues related to sustainable development. In particular, she is interested in the city's ecosystems, green and blue infrastructure, including water and energy efficiency issues. Rainwater management from an economic perspective, environmental costs and benefits in the context of the Circular Economy are the subject of ongoing research. Participant of international research teams and long-term collaborator of researchers from Japan with whom she is trying to transfer the experience of the Polish transformation in the field of environmental protection, ecological risk, water management and energy to the lands of other developing countries.

Professor of economics, senior academic staff member of the Department of Industrial and Environmental Policy. Member of the team research Models of production and distribution of public services in the Regional Initiative of Excellence project at UEK titled: Economic and social consequences of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Fields of research interest: public utilities in the in the revolution 4.0, sustainable urban development, circular economy, economic instruments for environmental protection, enterprise innovations and eco-innovations, instruments of state aid, company restructuring, development of modern industry.
